Mark Barr, Partner
Mark Barr is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he served as a general editor and author on Law Review and was a member of the Order of St. Ives. Before joining the private bar, he completed a judicial internship at the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) at the U.S. Immigration Court in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Barr is a long-standing member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s respected Amicus Committee, authoring, co-authoring and coordinating amicus briefing and litigation strategies before various Federal courts on issues of critical importance to immigration law and policy. Mr. Barr lectures locally and nationally on issues related to removal defense, asylum, and federal litigation of immigration matters.
Before his reincarnation as an immigration attorney, Mr. Barr received a B.S. degree in molecular and cellular biology and worked in research laboratories at Cornell, Yale and S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical University.
