Legal Assistant/Immigration Paralegal, Bilingual (Spanish)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We require superior analytic and communication skills, as well as the heart and soul necessary to be successful in a client-focused practice. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with our team of committed professionals. Applicants must be organized and detail-oriented, as well as adept at case management and client relations in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Minimum two years’ law office experience required; prior experience in immigration matters, preferred. Candidates must be fully bilingual and able to communicate in spoken and written Spanish and English.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparing immigration applications, immigration court motions, pleadings and exhibits for attorney review; client communication, interviews, and correspondence; developing supporting documentation and evidence for applications, removal cases; preparing applicant and witness statements; light office duties as needed to support full-time administrative staff.

TERMS, COMPENSATION, BENEFITS: This is a full-time position, non-exempt position with excellent compensation between $17 to $35/hour (DOE), and benefits, including health, dental and disability insurance, paid time off, 401(k) and profit sharing plans.
